Professor Liu Dajun was invited to address on the Fifth International Conference of Analytical Psychology and Chinese Culture

    July  8-10, 2012, the Fifth International Conference of Analytical Psychology and  Chinese Culture was held in the University   of Macau. The Conference  was jointly held by International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP),  International Society of Sandplay Therapy (ISST), University of Macau,  City University of Macau, and Chinese Foundation for Analytical Psychology  (CFAP). The topic of this conference is: Dreams, Symbolic Language of the  Psyche, Nature and Culture. 400 psychologists and scholars attend the  conference, including the chairman of IAAE and ISST. Many senior psychological  analysts joined the conference and gave lectures.

    Professor  Liu Dajun, the Director of Research Cencer for Yi-ology and Chinese Ancient   Philosophy Shandong   University, was invited  to present the conference and diver the speech: The image and its Significance  in Zhouyi. Combining the Synchronic theory of Jung, Professor Liu expressed the  image and alteration between hexagrams, time and  things conceived in the Yi, explained the  principal of investing into things. The report attracted maximum interests and  concern from the participants.

    After  the lecture of Professor Liu, Ms. Bettina Wilhelm, the granddaughter of Richard  Wilhelm, a writer and director, played a movie she made, the Intelligence of  Yi, Between Wilhelm and China.  The movie is based on the dairy of Wilhelm.

    Professor  Shen Heyong, the President of CFAP gave a lecture on “The Meaning of Yi Image:  Analyzing the Original Meaning of Dream in Chinese Culture”. He pointed out  that the significance of Yi is eternal theme in the international forum of  psychology and Chinese culture.
